Strength and Muscle

Building Strength and Muscle are two of the main goals of resistance training. These two goals are also two of the most misunderstood aspects of resistance training. There exist volumes of misinformation, myth, and bro-science (Gym rat guesswork) that clouds and mystifies the pursuit of Strength and Muscle.

There are no secrets! There are no secrets to getting stronger and gaining muscle. Yes, technology has improved and principles have been clarified, but no “Codex” has been revealed.

CTS uses science as its base to program Strength and Mass routines. Science, coupled with experience allows CTS to design programs that work for each individual. Whether your goal is to get stronger, get more muscular, or both, CTS can shape the program to help you reach your genetic potential and beyond.

All the above may seem specifically geared towards men…

Not true.

Females should not avoid training for strength and muscle.

Girls! Do not fear muscle and strength training. You will not become bulky, too muscular —at least not easily!

It is rare that a female possesses the hormonal profile (testosterone) to build large amounts of lean mass.

No Fear! Barbells are your friend!

You will look more like an athlete (read: sexy) if you resistance train and that is a good thing!

DON’T BE ALL SHOW AND NO GO!

DO SOMETHING, DO IT NOW!
