CTS’ Mission is to expose athletes (we are all athletes) to the TRUTH —the truth about health, fitness, and performance.
More specifically, CTS cuts away the confusion, over- complication, and misinformation that stand in the way of success. Health, fitness, and performance has become unnecessarily overcomplicated and corrupt. This is a direct result of trendy marketing, pseudo-science, and “coaches” who are only interested in self-promotion, differentiation, and quick profit.
CTS’ approach is NOT driven by trends and current popular, unproven methods. We are, however, not above “borrowing” from any system, any method or technique that gets a desired result.
I am not a “crossfit guy”, not a “kettle bell guy”, not a “functional training guy”… I am a RESULTS GUY! After assessment and establishing a definite goal, I will employ any method and/or tool I have at my disposal to reach that goal, safely.

CTS’ training philosophy and training system is the simplest and most effective way for anyone to train to achieve excellent health, lose body fat, build a muscular athletic body, and vastly improve performance.
CTS considers everyone, at any age an athlete: Youth athlete, Mature athlete, Male, Female, Beginner, Advanced. CTS’ training system is completely adaptable and scalable to the current level of fitness and potential of any athlete. This allows CTS to meet the expectations and goals of beginners, intermediates, and advanced athletes alike.
My name is John Crowther and I have been training clients in Apollo Beach for 20 years. I’ve spent the last 20yrs studying, researching and teaching the most effective and efficient ways to promote excellent health, optimal fitness, and peak performance.
This journey includes a list of major certifications (NSCA-CPT, ISSA-CFT, USAW COACH L-1), several specific certifications specializing in Corrective Exercise, Movement Analysis, and Nutrition/supplementation —Add to that countless books, special courses, continuing Ed, and seminars.
My system employs training principles, methods, and equipment that have a proven history of efficiency and effectiveness. It is completely adaptable and scalable to meet the current level of fitness and potential of each athlete. This allows CTS to meet the needs and expectations of beginners, intermediates and advanced clients.
In my many years of coaching, I have had the opportunity to help many clients/ athletes achieve optimal body weight, greatly improve their health status, build a more muscular athletic body, and significantly raise their level of performance.
